We did it! 

We celebrated our son's Birthday in a summer variation! 

Like he wanted to have it. 

Having birthday in wintertime it's not allways fun.

Since we celebrate in this park, decoration was difficult, but... 

I can not with my wishes :)

Thank this blogs I got lots of ideas for a Star wars party.

The cupcakes wrapper I did with my cameo. The paper I've used is from here.

The decoration rings are from mytoys. Cheaper than amazon.de (sorry guys).

As party favor, I did paper lightsabers. Inside, some light sticks, candy & a patience  game.

Our son liked it & I'm happy!

Wir feierten unser Sohn Geburtstag in eine Sommer-Variation!

Wie er es haben wollte .

Geburtstag im Winter zu haben, macht nicht immer Spaß.

Da wir in diesem Park zu feiern, war Partydekoration schwierig, aber ... 

Ich kann ja nicht mit meinen Verlangen :)

Die Cupcakes wrapper habe ich mit meinem Cameo. Das Papier ich verwendet habe, ist von hier.

Die Dekoration Ringe sind von myToys. Billiger als amazon.de (sorry Jungs).

Als Dankgeschenk, habe ich Papier Lichtschwerter gemacht. Innen, einige Leuchtstäbe, Süßigkeiten & ein Geduldspiel.

Mein Sohn mochte es und ich bin glücklich!

This little bird house I did for Jenni's Winter - Christmas Workshop as a money holder.

It had some chocolate as well, becuase money it's not really making us happy :-)

Well, I'm preparing my classes for the paper projects @ school, our son is on vacation, the sun shines & we are counting ladybugs.

Did you see how many ladybugs are on the trees? 

Just lovely!

On monday we are celebrating halloween, collecting candy & having friends coming over.

Na ja, ich vorbereite die AG Unterrichtstunden,(ich bin soooo aufgeregt & glücklich darüber); unseren Sohn hat Ferien, die Sonne scheint & wir zählen Marienkäfer.

welcoming fall

After enjoying those last golden days on the beginning of October our son & I decided to change the decoration to welcoming fall.

We were singing "fall windy songs" around the house; making paper pumpkins & leaves.

I couldn't resist no using the last owl I've made with Ilonkas Puncher :-)

Nach dem wir diese wunderschöne letzte goldene Tag Anfang Oktober geniessen dürften, entschieden wir uns für eine neue Deko um den Herbst ein Willkommensgruß zu spenden.

Während unseren Sohn & ich durch den Haus "Herbst, windige Lieder" sangen, schnibbelten Papier Kürbise & Blätter. 

Und ich konnte mich nicht zurück halten! Ich musste, Ilonkas letzte Eule benutzten :-)

Fall is the planting time for bulbs.

In each market you can by tulips, daffodils, allium.

Whatever your heart beats for.

On the weekend we took some bulbs as a little present + a bottle of wine.

Herbst ist pflanz Zeit für Tulpen, Narzisse, Allium  

& alles andere Knolle die man so liebt.

Am WE haben wir ein Paar als Mitbringsel mitgenommen + Wein.

Since 2 weeks I belong to the scrapbook werkstatt forum. 

They had Easter projects, tutorials & lots of ideas.

Those pinwheels I've learned are really easy  & colorfull decoration for presents & table.

I've made some to decorate little easter treats, but I can not find the pictures....

A dream come true

I did it!!!

I'm dreaming about a spring wreath since 2009 as I saw one online.

Last saturday, while we were in Venlo, Netherlands I've found a wreath in a beautiful florist store: "Puur Sfeer" Grote Kerskstraat 21~ Venlo

I knew it will became part of my dream, so we bought it :-)

Today, I did not touch the kitchen or my homework, before I wasn't finish with this project.

spreading spring

I'm so happy spring is coming!

Even if it still being cold, sunlight & plants are giving strong signs of SPRING!!!

I have lots to do in our garden, but I need to bring spring into the house.

My table decoration are some paper flowers I did & mixed up with natural branches. Since it's being warmer the little leaves are opening.

Today the sun it's making vacation somewhere else, but we are going to visit our friends, so sunshine is in our hearts.

Yesterday, my son & I bake some banana muffins to bring for our visit.

After I while with me alone it looked like this:

The flowers on the top of the muffins are done with eatible paper, cut it with my puncher. The garden is made with crepe paper & I did a tutorial on how to make your own garden. (the box + grass )

Because Christmas for me is summertime, 36°C, cold tasty food, & I've been described as the funny colorful scrapper our christmas decoration speaks for my image & is a summer brise.

This tiny houses for our tree, are made with My mind's eye colorful christmas (wich fits we me really good). The background paper is Mme as well (fine & dandy).

Sorry for the pictures, I can not get the bright color out of it!

Here in Cologne we have tons of snow & I love it!

It looks gorceous!!! Like powder sugar all over the world.

Tonight we are trying to get to the christmas market to see it in this special snowy mood.



bird houses

Last week I saw this little cutie houses by:

Gudruns papirblog  & I had to try it!!!

The first one I did... without reading the directions :-) That's the reason why the roof is not able to open :-) But in my second prototype it works.

I filled it with two little candles & a matchbox wrapped with the same pattern paper

And her present looks like...

Today, my darling friend gets 40,

 so I can publish her presents & the decoration I did for her cake.

The cake it's chocolate, dulce de leche  & baiser.

Since we are from Argentina, I allways do this taste, so we feels like home.

That's the money pocket. It's allways difficult to wrap money.

Thanksgiving

Last week I was dedicated to create some turkey birds as place card & thanksgiving's trivia for our friends dinner. We spent a beautiful night with great people. It was so much fun! The real bird tasted delicious, and the orange-cranberries sauce made it perfect.
